My first impression of Villas el Morro was that the view is unsurpassed. It really is spectacular, whether from the pool, cabaña or the floor-to-ceiling windows of the rooms. The place is situated for a beautiful vista from each room and all facilities in front. We really enjoyed facing the east and the sunrise, and watching all the fishing boat traffic in the bay just below. The view to the east put us in the shade with the sun behind us during the hottest part of the day, but there was plenty of sun through the afternoon at poolside. Being up high, we also had a constant breeze off the ocean, which we could see from the south window of our end room. Finally, the eastern view gave us the moon rising over the hills in the late evening -- what a sight.

I could go on and on and am wishing I could get on a plane to return right now.

The other things we really appreciated were that Mirna kept everything spotless and Tonio did a great job keeping up the grounds. The large area of muticolored bougainvillea across the front is quite a picture. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We liked the short walk to town, which we took once or twice a day, but preferred a cab ride back rather than tackling the steep stairway uphill if it was hot.

What really impressed us most, though, was the obvious concern you and your staff showed for your guests, and your willingness to sit around with us just to talk. That's what really made the experience fun. Barb will always remember you taking her to your own doctor (with no appointment or even a phone call required) to get her lost medication replaced, and sends her thanks again.

Hola to your family. We look forward to seeing you on our next trip to Zihua. I'll bet your son will be speaking English, and we plan to really improve our Spanish.

Le agradezco la atención de tomar encuenta mi comentario acerca del lugar. El hotel está situado en un lugar muy tranquilo, tiene una vista maravillosa, desde ahí se puede observar toda la bahía, y es una vista realmente increible, la hospitalidad de los que laboran ahí es excelente. Lo único que le recomendaría si me lo permite para poder acrecentar su negocio es que tuvieran un poco de variedad en el desayuno, y que vendieran revistas, botanas, etc, por que están muy lejos las tiendas, maxime que hay personas que no vamos en automovil y en las noches se nos puede antojar algo.

La limpieza es otro factor muy importante, todo está impecable, las instalaciones de primera y lo más importante es que las villas tienen un toque hogareño que es dificil encontrar, precisamente por ser pequeño, es realmente un lugar para descanzar.

Spent 11 days at Villas El Morro over Christmas and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The rooms and suites are beautiful and very clean. The pool has the best view over the bay in all of Zihuatanejo. Eduardo, Mirna, and Tonio did everything they could to help make our vacation memorable. Its very easy to get into town from here by cab or walking. Its very quiet and peaceful, not a place for kids. While my newlywed wife and I were lodging in the "El Morro", we were asked by Eduardo to write something about our stay, hoping to let other people know what the Villas El Morro had to offer. The one thing that sticks in our minds is that the Hotel is nestled away from the main town of Zihuatanejo. This is a good thing. You and whoever else can enjoy a midnight swim overlooking the bay and not have to worry about people bothering you. As Eduardo says, "It has the most spectacular view!" The hotel is walking distance from town, a very nice walk I might add, and well worth it.

The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast fantastic, and the beer is cheap! Eduardo extended his hospitality, like everyone else in Zihuatanejo, and we couldn't think of any other place to recommend for people to lodge when they stay in Zihuatanejo. Villa el Morro is one of the best vacations we have ever had. The accommodations are wonderful and the service is unbeatable. The view from the rooms and the pool are breathtaking. Eduardo and his family are wonderful hosts. They took special care to make sure ALL of our needs were met. Eduardo personally drove me to the pharmacy to get my prescriptions. He went above and beyond to satisfy us. There staff Mirna and Tono are excellent at their jobs. We are truly honored that we were among the first guests to stay at the villa.
